Person County Department of Social Services is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable professional to serve as a Staff Development Specialist I within the Economic Services Division. This position plays a critical role in supporting the professional growth, performance, and success of staff across multiple program areas, including Family and Children’s Medicaid, Adult Medicaid, and Food and Nutrition Services.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record per County policy.
- Graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of experience in a human service program, counseling, training, or in an administrative support role in a staff development and training office; or graduation from high school and five years of progressively responsible experience directly related to training in the subject or specialty area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Within 3 days of the start of your employment with the County, you must be able to provide proof of your eligibility to work in the US.
