About The Position

The Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Preventionist is responsible for leading and coordinating the facility's staff development and infection prevention programs. This dual-role position provides education, training, skills competencies, clinical observations, and quality assurance audits while also overseeing infection prevention and control initiatives to promote a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the facility's staff development and infection prevention programs.
• Providing education, training, skills competencies, clinical observations, and quality assurance audits.
• Overseeing infection prevention and control initiatives to promote a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Monitoring, tracking, auditing, and analyzing data and trends for educational opportunities.
