About The Position

As a Design and Verification Engineer on Micron’s Pathfinding Design Team, you will play a key role in shaping next-generation memory technologies. In this role, you will contribute to the verification and development of advanced memory solutions, beginning with full-chip functional verification and expanding into array architecture definition, analysis, and mixed-signal circuit development. Your work will span the full design path, from the memory array to the interface block, across technologies such as DRAM and emerging memories. You will also contribute to novel concept development, circuit simulation, optimization, and floor planning to help enable breakthrough memory solutions!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D., or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of verification engineering experience in digital, analog, or mixed-signal verification, including expertise in Verilog, FastSpice, co-simulation, and real-number modeling.
  • Experience in custom design (schematic-based) and RTL verification flows, with exposure to mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor physics, electronic circuits, and circuit-level verification using SPICE, analog, and Verilog-based design tools.
  • Proficiency with UNIX and Cadence design environments, including simulation, schematic entry, and SPF extraction, coupled with strong problem-solving, communication, and independent decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with design-for-test (DFT) methodologies for memory products.
  • Exposure to RTL verification, static timing analysis (STA), or timing-accurate Verilog.
  • Programming skills and Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to verification/design workflow

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive chip-wide functional verification on Micron memory development projects.
  • Develop verification plans by thoroughly understanding composition specifications.
  • Build SystemVerilog testbenches to achieve complete functional coverage.
  • Apply SystemVerilog assertions and verification techniques detailed in testing.
  • Collaborate with digital design teams to debug test cases and ensure functional accuracy.
  • Analog-digital circuit compose and develop.
