Requirements

Graduation from an accredited dental school in the United States.
Valid dental license in Nevada or appointment through the USPHS/IHS.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse, minority environment, demonstrating cultural sensitivity while engaging with patients.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
Proficiency with dental tools and technology.
Evidence of a recent Infectious Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) test showing ONE of the following: a negative Mantoux skin test, a negative chest x-ray, or a statement from a physician confirming freedom from TB.
Excellent patient management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver essential dental services, focusing on both preventive care and treatment for a diverse patient population.
Examine, diagnose, and treat common dental diseases.
Ensure the community has adequate access to high-quality dental care.
Perform oral and radiographic examinations.
Restore cavities.
Administer anesthesia as needed.
Conduct uncomplicated extractions.
Manage prosthetic dentistry by crafting appropriate restorations, including crowns and dentures.
Implement dental health programs aimed at oral disease prevention and patient education.
Manage the unique needs of patients, including those with behavioral challenges, fostering a supportive and caring environment in the health center.
