Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
One year of scheduling experience at an assisted living or long-term care community, required
Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and be able to quickly learn our scheduling software program, electronic healthcare record system, and other software platforms used by the community
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
Must be able to follow oral and written directions and work independently in the absence of supervision

Nice To Haves

Current Qualified Medication Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification, preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate and maintain staff schedules to ensure consistent coverage and quality resident care.
Monitor staffing levels and proactively address scheduling needs, call-offs, and open shifts.
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding direct care staff.
Partner with community leadership to support staffing strategies and workforce planning.
Support Human Resources and payroll-related processes for clinical staff.
Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations, community policies, and operational standards.
Serve as a resource for team members regarding scheduling and staffing questions.
Collaborate with the management team to support resident care goals and community operations.
Participate in after-hours emergency response as part of the management team on-call support structure.
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that supports excellent resident service and care.
