About The Position

Stryker is seeking a Staff Clinical Data Manager to join our Neurovascular division. This is a remote role based anywhere within the United States. As Staff Clinical Data Manager, you will be a key contributor within Stryker’s clinical development organization, serving as the data management lead for early‑phase medical device studies of moderate scope and complexity. This role provides end‑to‑end ownership of clinical data management activities, supporting the design, execution, and oversight of clinical data systems and processes across the full trial lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical and/or scientific discipline
  • 4+ years of clinical data management experience
  • Hands-on experience with Medidata Rave electronic data capture systems
  • Working knowledge of clinical data standards and regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice and applicable international guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical Data Management experience supporting medical device clinical trials
  • Experience with Medidata Imaging and JReview administration
  • Knowledge of Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium standards
  • Experience overseeing contract research organizations or external vendors for data management activities

Responsibilities

  • Lead all clinical data management activities for assigned medical device studies from study start‑up through database close‑out, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and inspection readiness
  • Design, build, and maintain clinical databases, including authoring, reviewing, and approving database and edit check specifications
  • Oversee electronic data capture system builds and updates, including execution and documentation of user acceptance testing
  • Develop and execute data review plans; direct ongoing data cleaning, query generation, and query resolution activities with internal teams and external partners
  • Review and analyze data listings and metrics to support trial oversight, operational decisions, and protocol compliance
  • Manage data management timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with study plans and milestones
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day data management activities with clinical operations, biostatistics, medical, and external vendors to ensure timely and compliant data delivery
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, standard operating procedure development, and preparation for audits and inspections as the organization scales
