About The Position
Revive Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a high-growth AI start-up building next-generation AI-powered products, already demonstrating exceptional traction and rapid user adoption. This is a foundational hire, working at the core of the backend team to design and scale infrastructure supporting complex, real-time AI systems. You’ll play a key role in shaping how the platform evolves as it moves through a significant growth phase.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of backend engineering experience
- Proven experience scaling systems within a high-growth or startup environment
- Strong background in backend infrastructure, distributed systems, or data-heavy applications
- Experience working on complex, real-time or AI-driven systems (LLMs, workflows, orchestration)
- Ability to operate with high ownership and autonomy in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical work into business impact
Responsibilities
- Own and scale core backend systems and infrastructure in a high-growth environment
- Design and build systems for workflow orchestration, task queuing, and scheduling
- Develop integrations across multiple data sources (email, calendar, messaging platforms, SaaS tools)
- Solve complex engineering challenges related to latency, scalability, and LLM-driven workflows
- Build and ship new features end-to-end in a fast-paced, collaborative team
- Work closely with founders, engineers, and users to deliver high-impact solutions
