About The Position

We are seeking a Staff Automotive Business Operations Analyst to support critical business operations for the Automotive Business Unit (BU). This role spans demand planning, inventory management, product lifecycle management, and new product introduction (NPI). The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence and enable data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 5+ years of business operations or related experience.
  • OR
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 7+ years of business operations or related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and conceptual skills; ability to identify root causes and propose solutions.
  • Industry Experience: 2+ years in semiconductor or related industry.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • 5+ years with ERP, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and business analytics tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Advanced Excel and complex data analytics expertise.
  • Organizational Experience: 3+ years in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present effectively across cultures and collaborate proactively.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships and work inclusively across teams.
  • 5+ years’ experience within Finance, Sales Operations, Supply Chain or related fields with financial and/or operations background
  • BS in Business / Finance or related field required
  • Experience with demand / forecasting process
  • Experience with NPI, PCN and PLM activities
  • Experience in driving analytics and reporting initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain multiyear demand forecasts for automotive managed products.
  • Organize regional forecast alignment meetings and use analytics to improve forecast accuracy and optimize safety stock planning.
  • Support demand planning processes, ensuring Automotive requirements are accurately captured and executed in partnership with Sales Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer and financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with Finance on pricing, forecasting, and supply constraint planning.
  • Drive Product Lifecycle Management, including:
  • Product Change Notices (PCN): Track customer acceptance, demand transition, and inventory depletion.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support lifecycle and demand management.
  • Support NPI activities through production release.
  • Lead process improvements and system implementations to enhance efficiency and reporting.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for the Automotive BU and streamline processes where possible.
