As a Staff Auditor, you'll work alongside experienced professionals serving clients across a variety of industries, including Healthcare, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Construction, Higher Education, and more. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or expected completion prior to start date.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity and a desire to understand how businesses operate.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A willingness to seek feedback, learn from others, and continuously improve.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Interest in pursuing CPA licensure.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree is a plus but not required.
  • Internship, co-op, campus leadership, customer service, or other professional experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Develop an understanding of client operations, financial reporting processes, and industry-specific risks.
  • Assist in preparing workpapers, audit documentation, and financial statements.
  • Analyze financial information, identify inconsistencies, and ask thoughtful questions to deepen your understanding.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to gather information and support engagement objectives.
  • Build strong communication skills through regular interactions with colleagues, managers, and clients.
  • Develop proficiency in accounting, audit, and technology tools used throughout the firm.
  • Apply feedback from supervisors and mentors to continuously improve your technical and professional skills.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Progress toward CPA certification and other professional development goals.
