About The Position

The Staff Auditor I reports to the Manager of Internal Audit and assists with planning and executing compliance and operational audits at Caesars properties across the enterprise. The role is based in New Orleans and may require periodic travel of approximately 25%, including travel to other locations. The position requires eligibility for occupational gaming licensing in various gaming jurisdictions, primarily Louisiana.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be eligible for occupational gaming licensing in various gaming jurisdictions, primarily Louisiana.
• Must be able to travel to other locations as required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate comfortably with all levels of management.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a changing environment.

Nice To Haves

• A BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, hotel administration, or another business-related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• A four-year degree in another field with CPA, CIA, CFE, or CMA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with compliance and operational audits of business operations at various Caesars properties.
• Assist in examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify and document business processes and controls according to established department standards.
• Contribute to strong relationships with property mid-management and staff.
• Assist in presenting verbal and written audit results to different levels of management and staff.
