About The Position
BancFirst has an opening for a full-time position in the Office of the General Counsel as an In-House Staff Attorney. Salary is based on the applicant’s level of experience, with a competitive benefit package available. Participation in the BancFirst Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(k) Plan is also available after 3 months of employment. Parking is available at reasonable rates. This position will be located in the Bank’s downtown Oklahoma City location. Requirements
- 1 – 5 years of experience in banking and commercial law.
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts, review of corporate records and organizational documents, the review and creation of documents involved in trust and estate matters, and real estate law.
- Applicants must have received a Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school, and be in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Nice To Haves
- Litigation experience is desirable
Responsibilities
- Providing support and assistance of Bank management and personnel at all levels in response to issues and matters presented by Bank customers and Bank personnel involving depository, lending, real estate, trust and estate, and litigation issues.
- Tracking pending legislation, regulations, and judicial decisions at the state and federal level affecting the banking industry.
