Staff Attorney
About The Position
Verisk is seeking to add a Staff Attorney to its Corporate Law Department. This role will provide legal advice on various issues to product owners, data scientists, sales, operations, and executives. The Staff Attorney will be responsible for drafting, revising, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts. They will also liaise with internal business stakeholders on commercial matters such as contract interpretation and compliance to help resolve issues. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Admission to at least one state bar.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Ability to provide legal advice on commercial issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal business stakeholders.
