About The Position
Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local, and/or international laws. This position provides critical support to the Commercial organization and the Company’s AI efforts.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an Accredited Bar Association (ABA) and admission to the bar.
- Four (4) years’ experience and demonstrated competency relevant to area of legal specialization.
- Superior academic record.
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
- Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
- Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals.
- Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
- Ability to work and influence peers and senior management.

- Technology Transactional experience handling complex data and technology transactions domestically and globally.
- Client communication and good problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Provides legal counsel and guidance to FedEx to ensure legal compliance and protection of its rights.
- Assesses legal risks, prepares legal documents, represents the company in legal matters, and provides on-the-spot legal advice.
