About The Position

Legal Services of Greater Miami, a firm with 40 lawyers and 60 years of experience, is seeking a full-time Florida licensed attorney for its Community Economic Development (CED) Unit. The role focuses on providing transactional assistance to small businesses owned by low-moderate income individuals and nonprofit corporations involved in economic development. The firm is recognized for its advocacy for low-income communities.

Requirements

  • Full-time Florida licensed attorney.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in real estate, contract law, corporate, and/or administrative law.
  • Passionate about promoting justice and overcoming barriers facing low-income people.

Responsibilities

  • Provide transactional assistance to small businesses owned by low-moderate income individuals.
  • Assist nonprofit corporations engaged in economic development activities.
  • Engage in creative and aggressive advocacy for clients.
