At HDR, our employee-owners are fully engaged in creating a welcoming environment where each of us is valued and respected, a place where everyone is empowered to bring their authentic selves and novel ideas to work every day. As we foster a culture of inclusion throughout our company and within our communities, we constantly ask ourselves: What is our impact on the world? In the role of Staff Archaeologist, we'll count on you to perform site testing and conduct analyses work on a variety of development projects involving archaeological resources, historic structures, tribal resources and excavations. You will provide technical expertise to develop design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of service deliverable documents. You will perform routine scientist assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures, and complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables. You will work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior scientists on larger projects. You will give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed. This position will require travel as needed to North Texas offices and client project sites. Perform other duties as needed.
