Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree – Required
• 3 years accounting experience – Required
• Knowledge of accounting rules and processes
• Knowledge of payroll rules and reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and complete financial statements [http://www.accountingtools.com/definition-financial-statemen] and complete month-end close process
• Calculate financial and operating metrics [http://www.accountingtools.com/articles-summary-metrics/]
• Calculate anomalies and report significant issues to management
• Provide financial analyses as needed for management review
• Bank Reconciliations
• Payroll – coordination of payroll filings
• Assist with tasks required for external audits
• Assist with Federal and State reporting requirements (tax, Sec of State)
• Prepare payroll for submission to processor
• Prepare cash forecasts
• Maintain all employee salary information and life insurance
• Assist Staff Accountant with 1099 processing and multiple request for duplicate 1099s
