Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related scientific field required
  • 0-2 years of hands-on related work experience
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, especially the Clean Air Act
  • Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software
  • Possess valid driver’s license
  • Ability and willingness to travel by airplane and car, including overnight travel

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently complete tasks in support of air quality-related compliance reporting, permitting, stakeholder communication, and field data collection
  • Interact with project team members to steward compliance reports and permit applications and through the review process to delivery.
  • Understand and utilize compliance tracking and reporting software tools
  • Provide technical understanding related to projects (e.g., regulatory requirements, compliance obligations).
  • Assist clients with compliance programs.
  • Proactively work with SLR project managers to maintain a sustainable workload.
  • Short-duration travel to visit project locations and attend meetings.

  • The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.
