About The Position

The Staff AI Solution Architect serves as the business translator and delivery leader connecting functional business priorities with enterprise AI, automation, and technology capabilities. This role helps accelerate business outcomes by identifying opportunities where AI and automation can create value, partnering with Information Services (IS) to define strategy and roadmaps, and leading the delivery and adoption of scalable digital solutions. The position may support Legal, Finance, or Growth functions and plays a critical role in shaping how AI-enabled ways of working drive productivity, innovation, and business impact across Hershey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of progressive experience in business strategy, transformation, digital, analytics, process improvement, technology-enabled growth, enterprise capability building, or related areas.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience translating business challenges into technology-enabled solutions.
  • Exposure to AI, automation, workflow platforms, agent-based solutions, or digital transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, change management, and communication skills.
  • Deep expertise in at least one functional area such as Legal, Finance, Marketing, Innovation, or related business domains.
  • Curiosity and demonstrated learning agility related to AI, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary business owner for AI and automation priorities within the supported function.
  • Partner with business leaders, users, and IS teams to identify opportunities, define requirements, and prioritize initiatives.
  • Translate strategic business needs into practical AI agents, workflows, automations, and digitally enabled capabilities.
  • Lead initiatives through design, testing, deployment, adoption, measurement, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop agent job descriptions, success metrics, KPIs, and value realization plans for AI-enabled solutions.
  • Establish and track adoption, productivity, operational, and business outcome metrics.
  • Drive change management, stakeholder engagement, learning, and adoption of new ways of working.
  • Collaborate with enterprise AI, data, security, privacy, legal, and governance teams to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and responsibly governed.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate, redesign, scale, or retire solutions based on business value and performance.
  • Contribute to enterprise best practices, playbooks, standards, and reporting related to AI investment and value realization.
