About The Position

The Human Performance & Movement Sciences Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for an adjunct instructor position for the spring and fall semesters of 2026-27. This is a part-time, non-benefited position.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Education or Kinesiology-related field (sport management, exercise science, physical education).
  • Relevant teaching or professional experience in sport management, health, exercise science or physical education.
  • Ability to mentor students along career paths.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred professional certifications for field. ACSM, CSCS, ATC, K-12 licensure (current or previous)
  • Experience with Canvas LIS

Responsibilities

  • Design and delivery course content for credit courses
  • Prepare lesson plans and course materials
  • Assess student learning
  • Assign grades
  • Refer students to support services
  • Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students
  • Abide with USNH and KSC policies
  • Participate in appropriate departments/unit meetings
