About The Position

Tris Pharma, Inc. is a leading privately-owned US biopharmaceutical company focused on development and commercialization of innovative medicines in ADHD, spectrum disorders, anxiety, pain and addiction addressing unmet patient needs. The company has over 150 US and International patents and markets several branded ADHD products in the US. They also license their products in the US and ex-US markets. Their robust pipeline of innovative products employing proprietary science and technology spans neuroscience and other therapeutic categories. They have an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant in their Monmouth Junction, NJ facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including order-to-cash processes in a corporate or business setting.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, including “v-lookup”, “sum if”, “subtotal” formula construction, Pivot Table creation, and database management.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Pharmaceutical industry Accounting experience.
  • Experience with JDE/Oracle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage order-to-cash processes across the company’s three business lines – brand, generics and partnership.
  • Manage order-to-cash activities, including generating customer invoices and following up on overdue payments.
  • Ensure accurate books and records are maintained for sales, accounts receivable (AR) and gross-to-net (GTN) accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain account reconciliations/analyses for sales, AR, and GTN accounts.
  • Contribute to the timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • Provide required information as requested by the company’s auditors.
  • Interact with vendors and internal stakeholders on accounting-related issues and tasks.
  • Prepare journal entries and appropriate supporting workpapers.
  • Enter journal entries for review in the Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP).
  • Assist with accounts payable (AP), bank account reconciliation, financial close, and other day-to-day accounting activities, as needed.
