Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting
Proficiency in Excel
Significant hands-on experience using an ERP system including making direct journal entries
Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting
Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Can work independently with a high accountability to deadlines and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
Directly responsible for month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
Assist and preparation and execution of Sales and Operations planning process.
Assist with external audit functions and requests.
Assist Controller and CFO in ad-hoc projects.
Implement variance analysis and track down variances within month.
