About The Position

The Staff Accountant will act as a Controller, providing support, preparation, and review for multiple tax projects to deliver quality tax services and deliverables. The role is intended to grow rapidly within the company and requires technical and communication skills to coordinate with peers, managers, and clients and deliver simple and complex tax projects on time and to a high standard. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The position is hiring across the listed company locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least 1 year of public accounting experience in tax.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team members at various levels.
• Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of a wide variety of applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Research-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Superior attention to detail and strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
• Flexibility in dealing with change and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic tax research and correspondence.
