About The Position

The Accountant performs professional and analytical tasks in the accounting/finance function. Tasks are sometimes repetitive in nature and follow prescribed procedures. At other times tasks are unique and require independent analysis to achieve general objectives. Work is performed independently, but is reviewed by management prior to release. As circumstance warrant, procedures are developed to provide accounting control over areas of financial risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Business or Accounting
  • Two years Accounting experience
  • General Ledger Accounting, Financial Analysis and Excel or similar spreadsheet or any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares financial reports including financial statements, cost reports, and various transaction reports.
  • Prepares financial analyses.
  • Develops accounting procedures and controls.
  • Prepares account and other data reconciliation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Proactively support and practice company mission, vision and values.
  • Follow Employee Handbook guidelines and company policies and procedures.
  • Follow established departmental dress code.
  • Appropriately and accurately maintain time keeping records.
  • Adhere to attendance policy and time off requests.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Be flexible and adaptable and courteous and promote professionalism.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing through appropriate channels.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times in compliance with company policy and HIPAA requirements.
  • Employee has completed all required annual Compliance training and signed attestation form is attached for each module.
