About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and compliance activities. This role is ideal for an experienced junior-level accounting professional looking to further develop their skills within a structured and collaborative accounting environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- SAP experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
- Complete accurate data entry related to financial transactions and accounting records
- Assist with compliance filings in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements
- Prepare and files sales tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Review and assist with the approval of promotional accruals, ensuring proper documentation and proper accounting treatment
- Support general accounting functions and assist with special projects as needed
