Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required
2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or applicable quantitative role
Highly advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Programs
Able to build relationships, genuine connections and trust both internally and externally
Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in Accounting or Finance preferred
Familiarity with accounting software preferred but not required
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Responsibilities

Processes new contracts, preparing invoices, assisting with vendor forms, and otherwise ensuring prompt and accurate payments to clients and the company
Responsible for recording cash receipts and follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable
Records incoming and outgoing payments using our web-based accounting platforms
Onboards new clients, employees, and vendors in a timely manner to ensure seamless integration into our payment systems
Sends internal communication reminders to facilitate the resolution of outstanding payments, and takes initiative to follow up individually as needed
Support month and year-end closing and audit processes
Manages the 1099 process on behalf of Finance each year
Manage and track specific revenue streams including and not limited to management fees, events, etc.
