We are always looking to find ways to develop and innovate our processes in order to work smarter and faster. We’re looking for a Staff Accountant that is a team player and has good understanding of retail transactions, general accounting, and an ability and interest to tackle new projects as they arise. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions and will be continually challenged to learn and grow. The right candidate for this position will be detail oriented, drive development and efficiencies, experience in fast-paced environments, ability to work with various internal departments, an interest in continuous improvement and a drive to grow with the Company. The Staff Accountant role is building a foundation for a great career at Zumiez and beyond.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or relevant general ledger experience
• Strong team building skills
• An appreciation of Zumiez culture and values
• A track record of ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks
• Expertise leveraging Excel
• Ability to interact effectively with different personality styles

Nice To Haves

• Retail and process automation experience a plus
