Belmont currently has an opening for a full-time Staff Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for the coordination and support of the accounting processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required.
Two years’ accounting experience in a healthcare setting required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

Maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability or other financial activities within the facility.
Analyze financial data in order to prepare financial reports.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates data in UltiPro and ensure confidential handling of sensitive information. Information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, and other information.
Reviews payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Reviews weekly/bi-weekly doctor productivity pay documents.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Prepares and maintains weekly FTE report.
Prepare required financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis as required.
Ensure the financial records are accurate and filed timely.
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
