Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support our growing manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and ensuring a smooth month-end close process.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments
Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
Support month-end and year-end close procedures
Prepare monthly financial statement packages and compliance reports
Maintain and update the general ledger
Oversee accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and payroll processing
Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow
Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets
Respond to requests for financial data and documentation
Prepare year-end workpapers for audit and tax filing
Assist with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and financial analysis as needed
