Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong experience with inventory accounting is required.
Manufacturing industry experience is required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
Experience with ERP systems is required.
Experience preparing tax filings and supporting month-end close.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Nice To Haves

ERP implementation experience is a strong plus.
Experience with Concur is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries and support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
Perform detailed account reconciliations and analyze financial results for accuracy and completeness.
Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis.
Support inventory accounting, including reconciliations, inventory valuation, and related general ledger activity.
Partner with Operations to ensure accurate inventory reporting and cost accounting processes.
Assist with inventory audits and cycle count reconciliations.
Apply accounting principles within a manufacturing environment to support accurate financial reporting.
Prepare bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
Manage corporate credit card reconciliations and related disbursements.
Process miscellaneous accounts payable transactions and journal entries as needed.
Prepare payroll-related journal entries and supporting schedules.
Manage 401(k) reporting and commission payment schedules.
Prepare beverage tax returns and other required local and state filings.
Support internal and external audit requests by providing documentation and analysis.
Participate in accounting process improvement initiatives.
Assist with ERP system enhancements or implementation projects as needed.
Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.
