About The Position

H1 is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily revenue operations, month-end close activities, and accurate revenue recognition under US GAAP. The role works closely with the Accounting Manager and billing teams to validate transactions, reconcile accounts, and support financial audits. The Staff Accountant contributes to accurate financial data and decision-making across the organization in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.

The successful candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to accurate and timely work. They are comfortable analyzing data, improving processes, and collaborating across departments to increase efficiency and clarity in financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Solid analytical skills and US GAAP technical accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter willing to work hands-on independently and with a group.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition principles to customer contracts, software subscriptions, and implementation fees.
• Validate daily customer billing, unbilled revenue, and deferred revenue balances.
• Review sales contracts, process credit memos, and resolve billing discrepancies with customers.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses related to deferred revenue and accounts receivable.
• Gather documentation, prepare supporting schedules, and assist with external auditors’ requests.
