About The Position

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company’s various operating divisions. This position handles specialized billing processes, accounts receivable tasks, financial reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of billing and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, billings, and inventory tracking.
  • Reconcile financial accounts monthly.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and financial statement preparation.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate recording of operational expenses and revenue.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by supervisors.
