About The Position

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our General Accounting Cash Team. In this role, you will prepare journal entries, perform account analyses and bank reconciliations, support the month-end close process, and assist with audits. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of general ledger accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with strong Excel skills
  • Experience with a general ledger system

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Blackline or other reconciliation software a plus

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the monthly close process, ensuring all reporting deliverables are completed on schedule
  • Prepare journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly work papers, bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Partner with finance and operational teams to resolve accounting issues
  • Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits
  • Take ownership of your work and seek continuous improvement opportunities
