Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
1-3 years of relevant accounting experience required.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency with Excel required and exceptional MS Office skills.
Motivated individual with ability to quickly learn on the job and be adaptable to new assignments and learning opportunities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and provide creative real-time problem-solving solutions.
Ability to work effectively and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be effective with time management.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist in the accounting and control of inventory fixed assets.
Assist with the monthly, quarterly & annual closing process.
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations & financial analysis.
Prepare and enter journal entries ensuring proper back up to substantiate the entry.
Prepare monthly financial & operational reports.
Provide support with various corporate accounting functions.
Communicate effectively with Branch personnel and management as needed.
Participate in annual physical inventory at branch locations.
Work on special projects as assigned.
