About The Position

The position is responsible for supporting the business through timely and accurate reporting and analysis. The position will assist the Accounting Manager as well as the corporate accounting and finance team with day to day responsibilities and projects. Additionally, the position will support the month-end, quarter end and year end close processes by creating journal entries and preparing reconciliations.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a related corporate accounting role
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
  • Prior experience working with 3rd party reporting software
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and growing business
  • Comfortable interacting with Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer
  • In-depth emotional intelligence: behavioral maturity, demonstrated trust and integrity, high ethical standards, interpersonal competence and the ability to prevent, reduce and resolve conflict
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • PC Computer Proficiency: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint etc.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage internal reporting process that supports GAAP reporting as well as internal management reporting / FP&A
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
  • Assist Finance with Treasury Management support
  • Execute Finance projects as assigned
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes through analyzing results and creating and posting journal entries; preparing account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries as needed
