This role supports the mission to Share Christ – Love People by ensuring timely completion of bank reconciliations and journal entries for month-end and year-end reporting. Requirements

2-3 years relevant experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office operating environment: Excel, Word, Outlook
Ability to work within all levels of the organization
Ability to work quickly under pressure
Precise attention to detail
Handle sensitive and confidential situations
Problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Salesforce or Accounting Seed accounting system software or similar programs preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare and record journal entries in Microsoft Navision with appropriate detail backup
Perform bank reconciliations for Joyce Meyer Ministries and Hope Mountain Ranch accounts
Prepare allocations for journal entry use
Produce and analyze required reports timely: may include Trial Balance, Financial Statements, Flux Analysis, various reports and other ad-hoc reporting requirements
Assist with creation, maintenance, and analysis of JMM budgets
Assist management: preparation for mileage booklets, annual audit, writing procedures, and complete special projects
Assist with fixed assets: additions, disposals, depreciation, year-end reports & yearly inventory tracking
Communicate relevant updates to Controller
Assist the Finance Department with general ledger account coding, estate planning recordkeeping, and Salesforce functions
Maintain personal knowledge base of current United States accounting standards
