About The Position

We are excited to add a Staff Accountant to our growing team. This role serves as a key contributor within the Corporate Accounting team, working to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions. The position is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis, and journal entry preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Strong interpersonal and partnering skills are essential, as we operate in a relationship-driven business. Experience in accounting or financial analysis is ; prior exposure to the insurance brokerage or financial services industry is highly preferred.

1–2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Prior work with both income statement and balance sheet.

Nice To Haves

Insurance industry experience (preferred).
Experience with general ledger systems (Workday preferred).
Familiarity with insurance management systems such as AMS360, Applied Epic, or TAM (highly desired).
CPA track or certification (a plus, not ).
Experience in a multi-entity or intercompany environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
Research and resolve variances during the reconciliation process.
Conduct monthly revenue and expense variance analysis.
Prepare month-end journal entries and financial reports.
Support the monthly and quarterly close of agency management systems.
Assist in onboarding new Partners to Corporate Accounting processes.
Review aged accounts receivable (>180 days) and producer commission payables quarterly.
Audit cash and bank account activity to ensure accurate postings.
Fulfill audit requests and support annual audit preparation.
Contribute to year-end processes including budgeting, 1099s , unclaimed property, and state apportionment.
Reconcile intercompany balances between Acrisure Partners.
Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
