About The Position

Global CNC Industries, a manufacturer of precision toolholders and CNC machining solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support its manufacturing operations. The position helps maintain financial accuracy, support compliance, and ensure a smooth month-end close process. The role includes accounting close activities, tax compliance, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing, cash-flow monitoring, internal controls, and audit and tax preparation support. The position also assists with ad hoc projects, reporting, and financial analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 1 year of accounting experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
Support month-end and year-end close procedures.
Prepare monthly financial statement packages and compliance reports.
Maintain and update the general ledger.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
Respond to requests for financial data and documentation.
Prepare year-end workpapers for audit and tax filing.
Assist with ad hoc projects, reporting, and financial analysis as needed.
