About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to a highly skilled accounting professional to take ownership of the financial reporting requirements of the company.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar bookkeeping role with comprehensive knowledge of corporate accounting principles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Quick Books Enterprise.
• Strong understanding of GAAP standards.
• Demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Closing Month End.
• Perform general ledger accounting and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other balance sheet accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account analysis, and ledger reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Conduct monthly financial report writing, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for internal review and external reporting.
• Perform detailed account reconciliation tasks including general ledger reconciliation and checkbook register to identify discrepancies or errors promptly.
