Position Purpose: This position will work closely with the plant controller in his/her daily, weekly, and monthly task in managing financial results, and will need to possess strong process management and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience preferred in accounting, financial planning and analysis, inventory, or asset control at a renewable fuel’s organization, but will train the right candidate
Analytics and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of different accounting software and spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel
Organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail, analytical and possesses a proven results orientation
Time management

Responsibilities

Review for accuracy then record daily manufacturing - usage and consumption
Managing receipts, settlements, sales, invoicing, billing, payments, books, records, and financial statements.
Overseeing company accounting activities.
Enter all contracts for AR and AP
Fill out and submit monthly govt reports, including Tonnage Taxes and Sorghum Checkoff
Assist with internal and external audits
Provide support to the front desk and AP Clerk.
Assist with inventory control, including cycle counting, parts tracking, etc
Help streamline existing processes and create new procedures.
Assist with organizing and general housekeeping of warehouse
Filing end of the month or year reports to the provincial security regulatory authority
