About The Position

This full-time Staff Accountant opportunity is designed for a detail-driven professional who enjoys owning the numbers, strengthening financial processes, and contributing to a growing organization that values accuracy as much as innovation. You manage financial records with consistency and care while ensuring the general ledger remains accurate and compliant. You prepare journal entries, complete month-end and year-end close activities, and reconcile accounts with confidence. You analyze profit and loss statements and balance sheets, providing leadership with clear financial insights. You assist with budgeting and forecasting, compare actuals against expectations, and identify variances. You oversee payroll processing for accuracy and compliance, prepare and submit required tax filings, support audits through clean documentation, strengthen internal controls, collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies, and stay current on accounting standards and best practices-all while maintaining integrity, precision, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a payroll or finance environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical financial practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and clients

  • CPA or relevant certifications are a plus
