About The Position

EFPR Group is seeking Staff Accountants with 1-3 years of experience in public accounting to join its Tax and Business Services Team. The role involves working on multiple client engagements, preparing and reviewing complex business and individual tax returns, and providing innovative tax planning and compliance services. Responsibilities include building effective client relationships, identifying tax issues, researching solutions, and delivering timely, high-quality service. The position also entails participating in staff development, including training and mentoring interns, while continuously learning new tax skills across a diverse client base. Flexible schedules and remote opportunities are available.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Progress towards or completion of CPA licensure.
Proficiency in tax research and accounting software, including ProSystems Engagement, Creative Solutions, QuickBooks, Sage Accounting, Excel, and Word.
Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and professionalism.
Ability to ensure extreme confidentiality and effective handling of elevated situations.

Master's Degree is a plus.
