About The Position

A Dayton area Business is looking for a Staff Accountant to provide financial information by maintaining accounts, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and performing general accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting and practices
• High proficiency in Excel
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and post general ledger accounts
• Month end closing
• Assisting with preparation of financial statements
• Reconciling general ledger accounts and bank statements
• Accounts Payable
• Completing audits
• Processing purchase orders
• Other accounting functions as needed.
