Manage day-to-day financial functions of the company to ensure management has timely and accurate financial information. This role reports to the CFO and is responsible for accounting, financial and procurement processes at the company to include: accounting, financial and operational reporting, internal controls, cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting, tax compliance, and supplier management. The Staff Accountant’s function's include assisting in developing and maintaining the company’s internal controls and accounting policies and procedures, operational and financial reporting and providing analysis, counsel, advice and recommendations to help company and top-level management make operating decisions to reduce costs, improve profits and return on investment, and to achieve goals and plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university.
  • 3-5 Years Experience as a Staff Accountant for a mid-sized organization.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill US GAAP reporting standards
  • Assist with month-end financial reporting related to the company and its operations
  • Aligning the company financials to industry standards for costs, general ledger and financial reporting consistency
  • Reporting financial results on operational performance (variance to plan, analysis of variances etc.)
  • Maintenance and review financial and internal controls for operations, complete capital spend audit.
  • Superior knowledge of fraud detection and treasury safeguarding.
  • Management of Cash Flow.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Vendors and Customers
  • Provide timely Monthly Financial Reports.
  • Assist CFO with calculation of Cost of Goods Sold for Bill of Materials.
  • Coordinate proper filing of tax returns.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all finance functions.
  • General Ledger Maintenance.
