About The Position

Play an integral role in financial closing requirements, subsequent account reconciliations and analysis, and daily accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Good understanding of accounting theory and GAAP
• 2-3 years of prior experience in an accounting role

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load journal entries
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, including balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Prepare account analysis, including research and compilation of findings
• Prepare daily cash journal entries and related reporting
• Prepare P&L accrual estimates and allocations by location
• Assist the Senior Accountant with fixed asset capitalization
• Assist the Senior Accountant and Management with accounting adjustments
• Prepare documentation and notes supporting procedures or accounting treatment
• Assist the Accounting Team with ad hoc assignments
• Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure financial statement completeness and accuracy
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional departments to reach satisfactory results
• Meet deadlines and proactively communicate findings and status timely
