About The Position
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and month-end close. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3 + years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).Quickbooks Pro Advisor preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- CPA or progress toward CPA certification a plus.
- Experience in Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, as needed.
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial regulations.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions.
