Job Description As a Staff Accountant you will be involved in the Company's day to day operations and month-end process. You will work under the direction of the Controller and Accounts Receivable Supervisor to perform accounts receivable duties as well as month-end duties.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with creating formulas
• Organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of accounting practices and financial accounting standards
• Minimum 1 year work experience in accounting a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Detail-oriented mindset with a knack for spotting discrepancies
• Team player who communicates clearly and works well under deadlines
• A proactive problem-solver who loves finding better ways to do things

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
• Exposure to motor vehicle finance industry a plus
• ERP experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts receivable clerk duties
• Daily cash reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries based on prepared supporting documentation
• Audit interface and bank reconciliations
• Fixed assets & Right-of-use asset reconciliations
• Various reconciliations for month-end
• Assist Controller with a variety of tasks as needed
