Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related business field
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, analytical, strong problem-solving, and prioritization skills
Understanding of SFAS rules, accounting principles, confidentiality, and reporting standards

Nice To Haves

previous bookkeeping experience
Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas

Responsibilities

Maintain general ledgers by preparing and posting journal entries.
Bi-weekly bank account reconciliations
Monthly credit card account reconciliations
Assist in preparing accurate monthly financial statements.
Active participation in the month-end and year-end close.
Ensure all accounting processes adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assist with internal and external audits.
Support management with special financial projects.
Maintains historical records by filing documents in our shared cloud software.
Analyzes the data to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
