About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented accounting professional to take ownership of the company’s financial reporting requirements. The role manages full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger accounting, maintains accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP, and prepares monthly financial reports for internal review and external reporting. It uses accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Enterprise.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar bookkeeping role, with comprehensive knowledge of corporate accounting principles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Strong understanding of GAAP standards.
• Demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Handle month-end closing.
• Perform general ledger accounting and accurately record transactions in compliance with GAAP.
• Regularly reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account analyses, and ledger reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Use accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for internal review and external reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and checkbook registers to identify discrepancies or errors promptly.
