The Staff Accountant will provide senior staff level accounting assistance to the Trisura Specialty Insurance Company team. Primary focus and job responsibilities will pertain to the general ledger, account reconciliations, and other insurance and financial reporting requirements. As an integral member of the team, you will bring proven ability to work within a team in a demanding and fast-paced environment with competing and sometimes changing priorities; ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines; strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to both senior personnel and external third parties; proven ability to exercise independent judgment; proven analytical skills and problem-solving skills; strong organization and planning skills, with demonstrated project management skills; strong attention to detail and ability to self-review; strong interpersonal skills.
