A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT: As the Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for accurate cash balancing, processing daily unposted items, investment accounting; quarterly financial reporting; and various bank accounting systems. In addition, you will be responsible to maintain correspondent bank balances, reconciliations, and serve as a back-up for accounts payable.

Requirements

One to three years prior accounting experience required
Experience with financial reconciliations required
Demonstrated aptitude for working with numbers/figures with accuracy and strong attention to detail required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a group or independently

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
Prior accounting experience in the financial services industry preferred
Experience with financial reconciliations in the financial services industry preferred
